Starting a new chapter

On October 28, 2024, Sabre announced a new long-term partnership with leading online travel technology company, Serko, to accelerate innovation in the managed corporate travel space. In connection with the partnership, Serko is acquiring the GetThere business.

This is an exciting development for GetThere customers, who will see Sabre and Serko collaborating to develop new product capabilities that will help further optimize corporate travel programs and enhance travelers’ experiences.

What does this mean?

We do not expect any disruptions to booking trips through GetThere.

Serko plans to invest in and continue to build on the success of the GetThere brand over the coming years. Key members of the GetThere leadership team will continue leading the GetThere business under Serko’s ownership.

Travelers will continue to have the ability to book trips through GetThere.

Travel Management Companies (TMCs) will continue to have the ability to service reservations made through GetThere.

GetThere customers will continue to have the ability to manage their accounts and access support through the GetThere portal.
