Guillermo Prosper is Vice President, Finance, and site leader for Sabre Uruguay. In his dual role, he is responsible for steering a multi-year program oriented towards updating and modernizing Sabre’s Finance tech stack, delivering innovation and flexibility in support of the operationalization of new commercial models; and for overseeing, since 2017, the general operations of Sabre in Uruguay, with a team of over 900 employees performing in a wide variety of job functions.
Guillermo started his career with Sabre in May 2004 as a Customer Business Analyst, and since then held various leadership positions within the agency and hospitality customer segments, including vice-president, Travel Network Advanced Technology Support, and vice-president, Travel Network Global Operations.
A native from Uruguay, Guillermo is an Economist, graduated from the State University in Uruguay, and holds a post-graduate degree in Administration from Universidad Católica del Uruguay. He also completed executive education studies on Business Analytics (Harvard Business School), IT Business Management (ORT University, Uruguay), Innovation (MIT – Sloan School of Management), and Business Administration and Management (Escuela de Negocios, Uruguay).
Guillermo has a deep interest in the IT industry, innovation, and building and leading effective teams.
