Brett Thorstad is the vice president of Sabre Travel Solutions, Agency Sales, Asia Pacific. In this role, Brett is responsible for all agencies including online sales performance across Asia Pacific and the retention and organic growth of both local and regional accounts. He works closely with Sabre’s airline, product and technology teams to drive customer-centric solution deployment in Asia Pacific.
Having joined Sabre in 2013, Brett has held several high-profile roles within the organization, previously serving as vice president of Sabre Travel Solutions, Agency Sales for North Asia, South East Asia and APAC joint ventures. Prior to that, Brett served as vice president & associate general counsel for Sabre, with global responsibility for the agency sales business. Before relocating to Singapore, Brett was responsible for leading Sabre’s legal support of global M&A activity, corporate finance, and other corporate transactions. Prior to joining Sabre, Brett was a senior corporate associate at the Dallas office of Weil, Gotshal and Manges, a prestigious international law firm.
Brett holds a law degree, earning his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center, after having completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Calgary.
