Explore how Sabre is bringing NDC to life with Qantas
Since March 2021, travel retailers have been able to shop, book and service NDC offers from Qantas through the Sabre marketplace. We’re excited to continue our work together, enabling new capabilities and expanding to new markets–most recently in the United States, the United Kingdom and South Africa. Qantas Channel-participating agencies can shop by frequent flier number for single and multi-passenger itineraries, as well as price, book, pay, cancel, void, refund and exchange NDC bookings from the airline.
As of August 2023, Sabre-connected agencies can now cancel a Qantas NDC itinerary and retain the ticket for future use. If you’ve already activated Qantas NDC through Sabre, you’ll automatically gain access to this capability. You can begin placing Qantas NDC orders today:
Ready to get started?
Step 1: Register for the Qantas Channel
Visit Qantas’ website to learn how to register for the Qantas Channel.
Step 2: Sign a Sabre contract amendment
Once you’ve completed the Qantas Channel registration, work with your Sabre account representative to sign a Sabre contract amendment.
Step 3: Begin placing orders
Activate NDC capabilities through Sabre by placing orders for the Sabre Offer and Order APIs and Sabre Red 360 via Sabre Central Marketplace.
