GetThere Extends Online Corporate Travel Agreement With TQ3Navigant; TQ3Navigant’s Online Corporate Bookings Up 45 Percent Through First Six Months of 2005

SOUTHLAKE, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Aug. 16, 2005–GetThere(R) and TQ3Navigant, the second largest travel management business services provider in North America, today announced the signing of a five-year extension to its agreement that designates the GetThere booking system as a preferred option for TQ3Navigant corporate online reservations. GetThere is the world’s leading corporate travel reservation technology, helping half of the Fortune 200 companies manage travel online.

“GetThere continues to provide experienced, proven support to go with its increasingly user-friendly booking tool,” said John Coffman, chief accounting officer for TQ3Navigant. “It is critical for us to have a reliable corporate system that works across multiple GDSs and foreign languages. GetThere’s ongoing commitment to delivering enhancements that work worldwide make the product a vital component of our global growth strategy.”

TQ3Navigant began offering the GetThere system to its corporate clients in November 2000. Today, more than 50 TQ3Navigant customers use the technology, including a number of prominent multi-national firms. TQ3Navigant’s online corporate bookings increased 45 percent through the first six months of 2005.

“TQ3Navigant has done an impressive job of leveraging GetThere’s strengths to meet the needs of its diverse client base,” said Bev Heinritz, general manager of GetThere. “The ongoing success of GetThere’s agency distributor program has its foundation in agencies like TQ3Navigant, which work with us and corporate clients to creatively maximize the benefits of corporate travel programs.”

More than 60 travel agencies are Authorized Resellers in GetThere’s Partner Program, which launched earlier this year. The program provides agencies with a powerful online tool allowing them to create agency-branded online booking sites for corporate clients. An agency can customize its booking site, combine it with online support and other travel management services, and package the complete offering for corporations.

GetThere resellers also receive frequent enhancements to the product that result from significant investments made across all of Sabre Holdings’ online technologies. Last month’s introduction of Travelocity’s award-winning TotalPrice(SM) for Cars functionality on the GetThere system gives business travelers the complete price of their rental car, including taxes and fees, prior to choosing and booking a car online. The new car shopping experience follows the recent implementation of GetThere’s enhanced hotel booking path. Corporations using GetThere now enjoy proven corporate travel technology that integrates negotiated rates, GDS fares, and content from multiple Web sites with a familiar shopping experience that makes it easy for travelers to book policy-compliant trips.
