Sabre names Cem Tanyel to lead Airline Solutions

SOUTHLAKE, Texas – Sep 6, 2018 – Sabre Corporation (NASDAQ: SABR), the leading technology provider to the global travel industry, has named Cem Tanyel as Sabre executive vice president and president of Airline Solutions, effective Sept. 10 and reporting to Travel Solutions President Dave Shirk.   Tanyel is a seasoned technology leader having held executive roles in product development, professional services and industry solutions general management over a career spanning more than 25 years. Most recently he served as executive vice president and general manager of professional services at Kony, the leader in mobile application development and digital solutions serving the financial services, healthcare and travel industries. Prior to that, Tanyel was senior vice president of consulting and professional services at Cognizant; vice president and general manager of global healthcare and life sciences software and solutions at CSC; senior vice president of product development for health systems at McKesson; and vice president and general manager of industry applications and solutions – including the travel and transportation industry – at Unisys.
